| C-J's Gemstone Creations is a small family operated home based business. Each piece of jewelry has been created at the jewelers bench, near the fireplace, in our family room. The business started as a hobby in early 2001, with an interest in natural gemstones, which in turn sparked nearly primitive attempts at setting some stones. Frustration with stone setting led to Jim's attendance and graduation from a National Jewelers School. The initial presentation of our jewelry, at a small fund raising event for a senior citizen's center, was very well received. We gradually increased our exposure with participation in small craft shows, then decided to move on to bigger venues. Some of the festival events we have participated in include: ~Covered Bridge Festival (Washington, Pa..) ~Garrison Days, (Beaver, Pa) ~Harvey S. Firestone Arts & Crafts Festival(Columbiana, Oh) ~ E.J.Thomas Performing Arts Center (Akron, Ohio) ** Family Festivals Association shows... we have participated in several of this promoter's shows each year. We continue to support fund raising events at local schools, churches, and charities. We also do private home parties and are registered for several bridal shows. The majority of our customers are referred by word of mouth. Our jewelry sells itself !! |
